Fix it Friday- "cooing baby"

OK, so what's this you may ask??? Well at I ♥ Faces they have "Fix it Fridays" and today I'm participating in fixing one of the photos entered by a fellow photographer. http://www.iheartfaces.blogspot.com/

It's just for fun, no contest. But, I thought I'd share with you a little bit of what's involved in editing a photo that's not bad, but could be better.

For Fix#1, here's what I did:

(In Photoshop CS3)

cloned out baby acne and imperfections

cropped and rotated photo

brightened/contrast

upped saturation a bit

ran MCP's Powder your face action to even out baby's skin

used "Touch of Light" in MCP to lighten chin and forehead

ran "Eye Doctor" to brighten eyes

ran "high definintion" also from MCP

For Fix #2

after doing the above to photo ran MCP's "Brownie Sundae" and that's it!
