I'm finally getting around to blogging about an event I photographed for the Foster Closet http://www.fostercloset.org/Home.html a few weeks back where Mark Brunell was the guest speaker (Super Bowl Champion of the New Orleans Saints and former All-Pro Jaguars Quarterback, for those of you who don't know). I was so happy to be a part of the event and get to meet Tammy McGuire, founder and President of Foster Closet (a non-profit organization). She is such a wonderful lady and does so much to give back! Her organization has helped 1200 foster children in northeast FL in the past year.
The event was Art of Sports where they had a silent auction consisting of signed items from Mark Brunell, Rascal Flatts, Reba McEntire, Jack Nicklaus and Dale Murphy. Mark Brunell said he didn't think anyone would want a pair of his old shoes!! Oh, you'd be surprised, Mark...
The art was done by some of the local Foster kids and was truly inspiring.
The volunteers for the event came from Family Support Services of N. All and all a great event and a wonderful way for me to spend an evening!
